District Announces Plans for

Crusade ‘09

The Mount Washington Fire Protection District has announced

several dates for events they will be sponsoring to help raise money

for their yearly fundraising efforts for the WHAS Crusade for Children.

May 9th -   Emergency Services Softball Tournament

                          Held at Mount Washington City Park. Teams must be affiliated with

                          emergency services. This will be a One Pitch, Double Elimination Tournament.

                          $120 Per Entry

May 17th -  Crusade Birthday Bash

                      Held at Mount Washington Station #1 772 North Bardstown Road Starts 1:00

                          p.m. Plenty of Food and Fun for the whole Family. There will be Live Auction,

                          Live Music, Car Show and Much, Much, More . . . . .

May 17th -  Carz for Kidz Car Show

                      Held at Mount Washington Station #1 772 North Bardstown Road Starts Noon

                          This event is held in conjunction with the birthday bash, there will be plenty of                               fun had by all.

May 31st -   Motorcycle Poker Run

                        Starts at Mount Washington Fire Station 772 North Bardstown Road.

                          Registration noon until 2 p.m.

                          $20 per motorcycle
